Ok well I only thought I had Facebook working. Now I think I actually do. If you use Facebook go to our page and give us a like!
Our Facebook page has been updated to reflect the new site as well. Surprisingly that was easier than I expected. I’m sure our handful of Facebook followers will notice the new name show up in their timeline and wonder, “What in the world is this?” Well, now you know.
Right now I don’t have the advertisements fixed. There’s no easy way to do that so I’m going to have to re-create each ad feed manually. This is good and bad. Good in that I’ll be able to clean out the older, non-valid ad feeds and the ones we just don’t want showing up here. Bad that it’s a manual process and will require a huge amount of my time. Not to mention that I have to change over all of my affiliate accounts and the like to reflect the new name and website. Ugh.
I’ve fixed the links displays meaning that now all of our links to other sites are working. What I haven’t done is gone through each of those links to verify that they are valid. That is on the list.
Our new Twitter account is now connected and works both ways. Make sure you follow us on Twitter using the twitter button above.
Ok, that was a lot harder than it should have been but of course had a quite simple solution. Go figure. Anyway, the Contact form now works so you can reach out and smack us if you like. 🙂
The following is a post that I posted on our old site: Six at Sea to help point folks here.

I’m sure you have already noticed that it has been quite a while since our last post. (I’m the master of the obvious.) There is good reason for this. Some I can share and some I would rather not. Let’s just say that while we have not abandoned our dream/goal entirely…the dynamic of the whole thing has changed. Considerably one might say. As such we felt that we needed to make a change to our “brand”. Over the next few weeks we will be converting to our new “brand” which will include updates to our Facebook page, Twitter account, Flickr accounts, etc….everything…including a new website. Some times these things are easy (I say this being fairly technically savvy) and sometimes not so much. It’s not that this is truly difficult, it’s just that there are quite a few components that need to be changed and adjusted to reflect our new home on the web:
In the interim, feel free to visit the new website (not completely finished) and if you do get a wild hair shoot us an email via the “Contact” tab above. (Sorry, that part is not working yet on the new site.)
As things progress and I get components updated/converted/etc. I’ll make sure to post the updates here. Keep in mind that I will no longer be making posts at the old site other that to make a final “We’ve Moved” post once everything is migrated. One of the first things I need to fix here is the “Contact” tab so that you, are faithful readers, can reach out and smack us for leaving you in the dark for so long.
