Ok, so we haven’t even narrowed down which boat it will be and we are already not in agreement on names. I know, I know you’re thinking it’s s/v Party of Six right? Maybe. Maybe not. Michelle’s suggestion was s/v Bob. Umm, no. Why Bob? WTF, I don’t know. She mentioned something about it bobbing up and down on the waves, OK, so I’ll give her that one but really? Come on. So Bob will not be it for 2 reasons. One, “Bob” has no relevance or sentimental significance. Two, just ummm, no. The captain has spoken.
Ok, so what is it then? Who knows. We’re constantly coming up with ideas. Mine she doesn’t like and hers I don’t like so perhaps we just need to stick s/v Nameless on which ever boat we find and go with it. Ya, that’ll work. Although, if we end up buying a used boat, we’ll more than likely keep the name or go through a re-naming ceremony if the previous name is just too unacceptable. (I’m all for luck so keeping the name the same is ok w/me.)
