Busy day today, and just now sitting down to a computer. Weekends are always busy at our house. It is a rare weekend that we can just sit around and do nothing all day. Today was no different. But I did squeeze in some reading today (while supervising the boys swimming while visiting with Matt’s family – yes, I squeezed in a couple of chapters of Dream Save Do
I really enjoyed the chapter on “Phrase to Save” – which gives the advice to think of every expenditure in terms of your dream. Totally makes sense… we actually have already started doing it… we really do not buy frivolous items anymore… we rarely eat out… and we always think, “Do we need that?” Actually, Matt’s “Phrase to Save” is “If it won’t fit on the boat, we don’t need it.” 🙂
So, I squeezed in a LEARN IT activity today! And I blogged. And I still have 52 minutes left in the day.
P.S. Matt had to get a cortisone shot in his back for a herniated disk today. Neither of us realized that he would be sedated for the procedure. Hoping it helps him with his pain.
