As a landlubber we have the joy of Chinese takeout. Yesterday our 4 year old decided he wanted rice with “soil” sauce so that’s what we went with. As with any good Chinese food you get fortune cookies. This is the one that I got and believe me, it couldn’t have come at a better time. Depending on who you ask the question, “What’s the hardest part of cruising?” you will end up with a different answer for each person polled. I can tell you this…the hardest part is figuring out how to do it. Not technically, the technical details are “easy”. What I’m talking about are the emotions and logistics of it all. If you, like us are in that “preparing” process and find yourself getting discouraged from time to time (especially for those of us who are less than patient!!!!) just remember this:
When we decided on the name Harmony, we also went to a chinese resturant and discovered a sign giving the chinese characters for Harmony. Naturally they are now displayed on her bow.
Lew that’s a great idea!
Thanks for the link, I’m adding your blog to my reader…looks like I’ve got some catching up to do. 🙂
